Coachella 2017 wrapped up with great reviews and happy faces on each and every festival goers that enjoyed the two weekend music festival regularly hosted at Palm Springs, California.
This year, although music performances are also one of the main highlights, the most hyped about event has to be the art installation that has everyone in awe. The Obscura Digital took over Coachella’s Antarctica structure for the world’s largest projection inside a geodesic dome.
Creative Director Joshua Pipic explained that the goal was to create something visually that couldn’t be experienced at Coachella, like a campfire. “We started with the idea of campers gathering around a fire together in the wilderness, and embarking on this psychedelic experience after that,” he said.
